Apartment Review for The Colony At Fashion Island - Newport Beach, CA

I have lived in the Colony since August 2000, and am still there as of February 2007. I find that the apartments are spacious, the architecture and landscaping beautiful, the amenities on the order of a private club, and the staff very responsive. All in all, it is like having a home with 5 star hotel amenities. My only complaint is that after 6.5 years my apartment is in bad need of a refurb. This would not be an issue to anyone moving in new, as all units are rehabed before re-rental, but I believe old and loyal tenants should also be sustained.
