Apartment Review for Sandpointe Cove - Newport Beach, CA

I am that Manager's previous employer (I hired her as a Leasing Agent back in 2005) and I have seen these apartments first-hand on two occasions.

The parking notices problems are being caused by things going on behind the scenes that the Resident posting was unaware of (Yes, I know that's a dangling participle). Though, a mistake was made by the Manager in one case the arrogance of the Resident is self-evident and quite brazen. Were I to play a version of Diogenes wandering with a lamp looking for one person who had never made a mistake, forgotten something, or otherwise, like the real Diogenes my wanderings would never end, even should I come upon this supercilious individual. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

As for the rest: Poppycock, balderdash and petty calumny. This is her first post as a manager and I, having been her boss in the past, know she is diligent, honest and anything but lazy. In fact, I have had 6 different Leasing Agents under me as a Manager (The LA position was a temp position at that Property, open during the Spring and closed on 30 Sep) and 1 as an Assistant Manager and she still rates as the best Leasing Agent I have ever had. She learned fast, was attentive and did her best - and did very well. She was always ahead of the curve once she understood what was to be done and made my life so much easier running that property. She was widely regarded as future Manager material in that company by all who saw her work from the VP of Operations to the Maintenance Director, Regional Maintenence Supervisor, Regional Supervisor and myself. If I could get her back as my LA I would be a much happier manager.

I read that review and the sneer of derision I bore as I read it must have been a sight to behold. I know none of it could be literally true, and whatever miniscule parts that might have at t least theoretically have been based in something somehow resembling a partial truth could only have been born of collossal ignorance of the reality of the events and the overweening arrogance of the observer.
