Apartment Review for Coronado At Newport South - Newport Beach, CA

I've only been here one month and it's been a bad experience. The management and staff are completely rude and make you feel as though you are inconveniencing them when you enter the office. The staff is made up of a bunch of young high school kids that have no respect for others. They blatently ignore you when you enter the office and it's gotten to the point where I have to scold them to get any service... which makes sense... at their age, they probably still need a mother/father to tell them what to do.

Also don't let them sucker you into renting from here. When I first signed the lease the girl told me that utilities would be included in the rent. Well, come to find out that you are responsible for rent, water, trash, gas, electricity and all other bills you can think of! I'm paying all of the bills I would if I lived in a house but with no privacy and none of the perks of having a home. They nickel and dime you here. They even charged me $2 for a laundry card after the complex changed all of the washing machines from coin machines to card operated machines... with the unbelieveable amount of rent they charge, you would think they would provide a complimentary laundry card and only charge if you lose it.

If you don't sleep at night, this is the place for you. This place is loud, stinks of marijuana and has obnoxious tenants who do not respect the fact that people in Orange County actually have jobs to go to in the morning. The tenants are a bunch of kids with daddy footing the bill and apparently no jobs since they party every day! The tenant above me has parties during the weekdays, screams off of the balcony at godawful hours, and cranks the bass up. The security is so awful here that I've had to call the police to keep that tenant quiet.

Do not rent from here! Unfortunately I have only been here a month and I am locked in for an entire year... if I could afford to break the lease now, I would do it without question!
