Apartment Review for Coronado At Newport South - Newport Beach, CA

I have lived all over the United States and never have I lived so close to the Pacific Ocean! That is the only draw this place has...I just moved out and received my statement of charges which has prompted me to write this review. I scrubbed my apartment, bought new light bulbs, a new toilet seat, cleaned the carpet and filled any nail holes with color matching putty. A $300 security deposit was quickly snatched and an additional $100 tacked on. The list is as follows: $100 cleaning fee-O.K., I understand if you tell me upfront! $127.96 for paint-The paint was mismatched before we moved in. What formula is used to determine $127.96? $75 Carpet cleaning: Shouldn't this be considered a nonrefundable cleaning fee?

My experience was awful! This is the ghetto of N.B. and the only reason I was sucked in is because they cater to out-of-state people. I hated my time in this hell hole. Oh and the hot tub was "under repair" for 4 months...I don't think it works now!
