Apartment Review for Coronado At Newport South - Newport Beach, CA

I like many others moved to coronado from out of state and must say that besides the location this was by far the wors place I have ever lived.

To start: The broiler in opur oven did not work. Not from week one. Called maintenance. Sent somebody out. Guy one says it can't be fixed. I call back and say that is not acceptable. Maintenance guy two turns up ten days later.... says that he fixed it, bnut to no avail. call back... they send guy three... this is now about three weeks into living there.... says it can't be fixed. talk to jeanne bishop (bitch) tells me there is nothing that they can do. no functioning broiler all year.

the water! they will leave a note on your door at 11pm and inform that the water will be out in the morning. Thats great especially when you go to bed early and have meetings in the morning to go to and are unaware of the disruption. this happened a good 10 time!! ridiculous.

the deposit: 500 bucks. not only did i ask for a walkthough of my apt before i moved out and was told that they didn't have anyone available (allso ridicu;lous) i received a letter today informing me that i will be sent to collections for $40 which i owe outside of the deposit. fucking ridiculous. $192 for paint... don't all apts need to be painted by law after you move out? $75 for carpet in a bedroom that was used as an office. the carpets were in terrible shape when i arrived. $100 cleaning fee bedroom 2, a $100 dollar touch-up fee? what the hell is that? cleaning is obne thing... touching up? give me a break...

i could go on and on about how the jacuzzi was scheduled to be updated in five weeks and was not working for 12 weeks and so many other things like the drunken man whop livved above me and would drunkenly walk into my apt and ask whats going on (lock your doors)

this place is truly TERRIBLE.
